Does it give you more spirit when you read or even listen to the song?

As our life when we get older we should be stronger to face the struggle of life. Yeah, as the wind blows strongly on the higher tree.

Let’s go to the topic. It’s about education.

Teaching is an activity to give knowledge to other, to students and the students will give feedback to the teacher or the knowledge’s deliver. In the book of Principles of Language Learning and Teaching, Third Edition Brown explains, “Teaching is showing or helping someone to learn how to do something, providing, with knowledge, causing to know or understanding (1994:7).”

That’s great. Knowing and understanding many things in this life is very important. But, the question is, do the teacher give a good knowledge to make the student become a good learner?
I agree with my friend’s statement “banyak yang menjadi guru tapi sedikit yang menjadi pendidik”. Well, what’s wrong?

A real teacher is not only giving lecture in front of class base on the book on his hand. Not as simple as that. There are a lot of things, such as the attitude, morality, capability, sensitivity, and many other. And the most important is becoming a good model. But I see so many teachers have a bad attitude in his life. I cry inside to know they are a teacher, teach a young generation of this country, this life, this world. When someone chooses that profession it means he will accept all the obstacles, including keeping his behavior in positive way. To be a good teacher is not an easy way, but it must be done because it is a choice.

I also have a deep disappointment when I see so many younger students do many bad things in their life. I don’t have to tell. We can see all, but unfortunately the feel that’s not a bad thing. If our young generation is in this attitude, what would happen at the time they have a chance to lead and to develop this country in a future. Ok, I also agree with my sister’s statement “Teacher is not the one person who influences the students’ behavior”. The teacher has many chances to influence them. As what happened in me, I’m growing older by seeing my teachers. I learn their word, their attitude, their performance, their capability. Sometimes, I admire, but I also often give a question mark on their strange behavior.

I don’t want to judge. I told what I saw in my eyes. I’m not a good person, but I’m a one who dares to dream to be a teacher in the future. I believe it will drop my tears, hurt my heart, strike my mind, but I do believe it will give many pearls in my life.

I want to learn many things, as I’m growing older I must be stronger to state my freedom of thinking. Now, I’m still in trouble to wave my flag, my freedom flag. Give me apologize for all I say and I think. And give me your best suggestion. I will love it.
